Stars of Wellington 17 March

Welcome to Stars of Wellington, our weekly round-up of student achievement outside of School. This week, we bring you news of some fantastic successes from some of our talented musicians!

Firstly, congratulations to Ingwa on winning First Prize of the “New York Golden Classical Music Awards 2023” International Competition and being selected to perform her recital at the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in July this year. Excellent work, Ingwa!

Milin in Year 1 has also been busy competing in the 10th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival on the Violin. She received the First Prize for both Thailand Preliminary Round and Final Round in her category for Violin and her performance can be enjoyed here.  

Furthermore, Last Saturday, Milin was invited to perform her violin at Bangkok Art and Culture Center for the Gold Medal Celebration Concert by Trinity College London. Again, Milin’s performance can be seen here.

Well done, Milin, what superb performances!

And finally, congratulations to Alice for winning two Gold Medals for her violin and piano (under Category I) competitions at the Music Learning Festival #8.  Excellent work, Alice!
