Once again we celebrate the achievements of our students in their adventures and experiences outside of School. The following are a selection of the many stories we receive each week. Congratulations to all of you in everything you do!

This week, we start by bringing you exciting news from the World Changers Cup, which was hosted here at Wellington on 22-24 October.

The competition is open to all students from education institutions around the world, with the goals of the event to promote critical thinking skills by discussing important societal issues.

Over 100 students took part in the competition with participants from Wellington, Harrow, Shrewsbury, Bangkok Prep, Bangkok Patana, Rugby School Thailand, SISB, Denla, St Andrew’s as well as many other schools from around Thailand and across the world.

We are delighted to report that Lincoln (Year 5 ) won first place in the Primary Category’s speech competition, with an excellent performance in his final speech “Education can change the World” given on stage in our Theatre. Well done, Lincoln, what an amazing achievement!

Ava (Junior School), also took part, making it to the final in the speech competition and making the quarter finals in the team debating competition. Well done, Ava!

Overall, it was a fantastic event for all students who took part, giving them the opportunity to test themselves as well as make new connections with fellow students from schools around Bangkok.

In sport, we have some exciting news again in tennis where Jackfruit has been delivering some outstanding performances. Competing in the 12 year old singles event at the PTT - NSDF 7th Lawn Tennis Skills Development Northeast Tournament, Jackfruit stormed to victory without even dropping a set in the entire competition! Outstanding performance, Jackfruit, congratulations!

And finally, we bring great news of some aspiring young gymnasts here at Wellington Darin and Daran who competed at the Gymnastika event hosted by PP Club at the beginning of October, with Darin winning a gold medal and silver medal whilst Daran also won one gold and a bronze. Wonderful news Darin and Daran, congratulations!
