🌟 Week 10: 1 Nov 24 🌟

This week is filled with a variety of talent! Get ready for a burst of amazing music, singing, and thrilling tennis and golf. Our students are set to shine! Let’s give a big shoutout to each of them for their hard work!  

Music

🥁 Drumroll, please! We have fantastic news to share! Tara (Year 5) has played her way to victory, snagging the Gold Prize (1st place) in the Thailand International Music Competition for Piano (Grade 5) on 24 October 2024! This spectacular performance took place at the buzzing Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and it was nothing short of magical! Bravo, Tara!


We’re thrilled to celebrate Alice from Year 6! This week, she performed violin at The Capella Bangkok Hotel's 4th anniversary event, honouring its recognition as one of the World’s 50 Best Hotels! Even more exciting, Alice won the Gold Prize for Violin and Piano at the Thailand National Youth Contest 2024! Way to go, Alice! We’re so proud of you! 🎻✨


October has been an incredible month for Theelyn (Year 5) in singing competitions! Here are her amazing achievements: 

  • Gold Prize at the TIMC Thailand International Music Competition 2024 
  • Gold Prize and a Special Award for Beethoven Art of Musical Interpretation at the Beethovinci International Music Competition in London 
  • Gold Prize at the 4th TNYC Singing Contest 2024 
  • Gold Prize at the TTMC Thailand Talented Musician Competition 2024 (Grade 6) 
  • Silver Prize at the TTMC Thailand Talented Musician Competition 2024 (Ages 8-9) 
  • Finalist at the B-Dazzled 2024 Singapore International Music and Talent Festival, competing against 624 participants! 

What an outstanding performance, Theelyn! We’re all so proud of you!


Sport

Big news from the golf course! Last Saturday, Vivi (Year 3) competed in the US Kids tournament against 25 players, and she crushed it! She won the championship with a fantastic score of 3 under par! Amazing job, Vivi! We’re all so proud of you! 🏌️‍♀️🌟


Last weekend, Emily (Year 6) competed in the JNT Tennis Junior Championship in Bangkok, finishing in 2nd place! She showcased resilience and an aggressive baseline game against top young players in Thailand. This strong performance follows her impressive streak of three consecutive tournament wins. Great job, Emily! 🎾
