Academic 

🌟  First up on the Academic Note — Let’s celebrate Nate from Year 6 for winning a Gold medal at the 59th Mathematical Olympiad, organised by the Chinese Mathematics Association. Your achievement is remarkable. Well done, Nate! We are proud of you!

Shining a spotlight on another Maths talent — Neutron from Year 4 also won a Bronze medal at the WOLPC 2024 Mathematical Olympiad! Competing against participants from Thailand, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, he demonstrated impressive skill and academic excellence in Maths. Congratulations on your success!

Music 

On the Music Excellence front — This week, we’re celebrating Theelyn’s exceptional achievements! Over the summer break, Theelyn (Year 5) showcased incredible talent in various singing competitions and earned impressive awards: 

  • Platinum Prize at the Bangkok Youth Singing 2024 Competition  
  • Gold Award at the RSL Voice Thailand Competition 2024  
  • Gold Prize at The 4th TMFYA Singing 2024  

In addition, Theelyn has advanced to the Final Round of the 18 Hong Kong (Asia Pacific) Competition 2024 and will head to Hong Kong in December 2024. We are thrilled for you and can’t wait to see you shine on the international stage.

 The Wellington Classic dazzled at the Prelude International Competition on July 20-21, 2024! Neya (Year 12), Suri (Year 10), and Puifai (Year 9) delivered outstanding performances, earning them Champions in both the Duo and Ensemble categories. Their exceptional talent and seamless collaboration captivated the audience and judges alike. We’re incredibly proud of their dedication and success. Congratulations to this remarkable trio! 🏆

Sport 

⛳ Music from Year 11 achieved an impressive 3rd place at the 14th Junior Golf Championship held at Yonex Golf Country Club in Japan!  With a fantastic score of -1 over 3 rounds. We're incredibly proud of your achievement—congratulations!

Last weekend, Emily (Year 6) triumphed at the JNT Tennis Junior Championship in Bangkok, securing the title with outstanding skill and determination! Not only did she overcome two of Thailand’s top-ranked players, but she also staged an incredible comeback in the final. Facing match point, Emily fought through an intense and lengthy match, ultimately winning the final super tiebreak 15-13. Congratulations on your remarkable victory!
