🏆 Lincoln Wins Thailand’s 1st Place in English Speech Contest!
Congratulations to Lincoln (Year 7) for achieving 1st place in Thailand at the Thailand English Speech Contest (TESC) 2024! Competing in the Grade 6 (Year 7) category for English Programme, Bilingual Programme, and International Programme students, Lincoln secured top honors at the provincial level in Bangkok, advanced to claim 1st place in the Central Region, and ultimately achieved 1st place nationwide!
The results were announced last November and Lincoln received his trophy, gold medal and certificate at the award ceremony on 5 January 2025 held at Thammasat University. His awards were presented by Mr Chadchart Sittipunt (Bangkok Governor), Associate Professor Dr Supakorn Phoocharoensil (Director of the Language Institute, Thammasat University), and Dr Prajak Saeung (Chairman of Thailand Academic Contest).

🏅 Winnie Earns National Honor Award at International Economics Olympiad
A big congratulations to Winnie from Year 10 for achieving the National Honor Award in the Junior Division of the International Economics Olympiad! Winnie scored an impressive 23 out of 25, placing among the top competitors in the event. Well done, Winnie, on this remarkable achievement!
VJ (Year 9) has achieved an incredible milestone by securing 22nd place out of 220 participants in the highly competitive English proficiency test for a scholarship from Thammasat University and Chulalongkorn University. At just 13 years old, VJ competed in a test designed for students up to 18 years of age with questions set at a Year 13 level of knowledge. His determination to challenge himself and plan for his future studies paid off, earning him a 50,000 Baht scholarship to fund a one-month summer programme in Canada this coming April 2025. Well done, VJ!

🏆 Welly Team Shines at the VEX Robotics Thailand National Championship!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news! Our Welly Team, comprising Doln, Tan, and Peach from Year 7, achieved a remarkable milestone at the VEX Robotics Thailand National Championship 2024-2025 – VIQRC Rapid Relay. The team’s hard work and innovation paid off as they secured both the Teamwork Champion Award and the Design Award at this prestigious event. This incredible achievement reflects their dedication, creativity, and collaboration. Even more exciting, we’re proud to announce that the team has qualified for the final round at VEX Worlds in the United States, which will take place in May 2025. We can’t wait to see them represent Thailand on the global stage!

🏒 Skate to Victory!
A big congratulations to Nuclear (Year 4) and Marven (Year 5) who along with their teammates proudly represented the Bangkok Warriors in the Bangkok Paradise Cup 2025 ice hockey tournament in the U10 Elite Top Division. The tournament, held from January 16-21, 2025 at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena featured 10 competitive teams, including participants from South Korea and China.
In an exhilarating championship match, the Bangkok Warriors triumphed over the Ruby Ducks from South Korea in overtime securing a thrilling 4-3 victory to claim the championship title!
We’re so proud of Nuclear and Marven for their incredible teamwork and skill on the ice. Go Warriors!
The Wellington Dukes Table Tennis Academy entered seven students into the first national tournament of 2025, which was the DMK Junior Cup at Central Bangna on Saturday 18 January. The new calendar year means that our students have moved up in age category, so they were competing against older students for the first time. In the Under 13 event, Gabriel (Year 6) progressed to the last 32, where he was narrowly defeated by a Thailand national team player. Kraam (Year 5) battled through to the last 16 of the Under 11 tournament, underlining his significant development over the last year. In his first Under 11 tournament, the Star of the Week was Raphael (Year 5), who reached the quarter finals of the Under 11 competition, eventually losing to a national academy player.
We are so excited to share the incredible achievement of our talented Wellington dancers, who lit up the stage at the Asia Students Arts Festival 2025 – 10th Anniversary International Round in Hong Kong on 11 January! Competing in the 9-11 age category, they wowed the judges and secured the 2nd Runner-Up Prize in this prestigious competition.

🏌️♀️ Nava Wins First Place at SINGHA Golf Junior Ranking!
Congratulations to Nava for her incredible 1st place victory at the SINGHA Golf Junior Ranking held at Royal Hua Hin Golf Course in the final match of 2025! Despite taking a two-month break from golf due to an injury, Nava made a remarkable comeback, showcasing her determination and skill on the course. We’re so proud of Nava’s amazing achievement and can’t wait to see her continue to shine!
Music
Kana has achieved the Champion Award in the Solo Saxophone Group E Junior Category, representing Thailand at the Japan Music Competition on 18 January 2025. Kana earned this prestigious title by scoring over 90 points, the highest score for her age group! Her musical talent continue to shine and we are excited to announce that she will compete in the final round in Japan this April.
Congratulations, Kana, on this outstanding achievement, and best of luck in the next round—we’re all cheering for you!
Bravo to Neve! A huge congratulations to Neve (Year 3) for her impressive accomplishment as First Runner-Up at the 4th CMTG Piano Competition. What a fantastic achievement—well done, Neve! We’re excited to see where her musical talent will take her next.
🥁 Tan Wins 2nd Runner-Up at Jazz Drum Competition!
Tan (Year 4) earned the 2nd Runner-Up trophy at the Asia Student Arts Festival 2025, competing in the Final International Round in Hong Kong on 11 January 2025. Tan competed against 15 contestants from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Australia, and Thailand in the 8-9 years old age group. As a result of this impressive achievement, Tan has been invited to the International Winner Gala in England—an exciting next step in his drumming journey!
