Sport
First up in our Sports Corner, meet Klarnissa from Year 8 who recently shone at the 8th Children of Asia International Sports Games in Yakutsk, Russia! As a representative of Thailand, elected by the Thai Sports Association, she brought home 3 medals, 2 silver and 1 bronze in the 4X50m, 4X100m, and 4X200m freestyle swimming events. With 24 sports and 30 countries competing, Thailand achieved an impressive 9th place. Congratulations, Klarnissa! We’re incredibly proud of you!
Music
We’re thrilled to celebrate Alice from Year 6, whose summer break was filled with exceptional musical accomplishments! Here’s a highlight of her impressive journey:
- International Young Musician Music Competition 2024, Vienna: Alice excelled in both piano and violin, winning the Top Prize in the 10-12 years category for each. She also achieved the highest score in the string sections. As a Top Prize Winner, she performed solo piano and duet violin with Prof. Konstainten Weitz, the renowned Austrian violinist.
- Open Piano for Charity Event in Vienna: Alice showcased her talents with both piano and violin in a public performance in front of St. Stephen Cathedral.
- London Young Musician Music Competition 2024 Season 1: Alice won the GOLD Prize Award in her piano category.
- 25th Osaka International Music Competition: Alice shone in the preliminary rounds, securing multiple prizes:
-Section I: Passed to the Final Round in Osaka
-Section III: GOLD Prize in Piano and Violin, both qualifying for the Final Round
Alice will be heading to Osaka in October 2024 for the final round, held at Abeno Kumin Center.
Back in Thailand, Alice performed captivating concerts for both violin and piano, including a duet with Mr. Norris at Princess Galvani Vadhana Institute and a solo piano performance at Amstutz Hall.

Another music star shines bright! Congratulations to Eiffel from Year 7 who recently won a special trophy at the Prelude Classical International Youth Music Competition 2024. Eiffel achieved the highest score in the Piano Solo Grade 6 Category, earning the title of champion. Way to go, Eiffel!
A round of applause for Kana (Year 6) who achieved the highest scores in ABRSM Alto Saxophone exams in Thailand from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music! She earned the ABRSM Level 2 Certificate in Music Performance with distinction in 2024. Exceptional achievement, Kana!
Art
Moving on to Art, Mochi, our Year 4 student won the Judges' Favorite Award in the "Thai Ancient Species" painting contest! Her painting in the Non-Paleoart category was recognised for its exceptional beauty and creativity. Mochi received a unique cloth bag featuring her winning artwork—the only one of its kind. Congratulations, Mochi on this well-deserved recognition!
