Academic
Huge Congratulations to Allie (Year 4)! Allie has won a gold medal with the top score at the prestigious GELOSEA competition (Global English Language Olympiad of Southeast Asia)! This esteemed competition brought together the brightest young minds from across the region, and Allie truly shined showcasing her exceptional English language. What an incredible achievement!
Music
Congratulations to Araya (Reception), our talented young musician participated in the AIMA Fukuoka Music Competition in the 5-and-under age group and took home 1st Place with her amazing piano performance of "Summertime Polka" (watch here)! But that’s not all—she also competed in another Piano International Competition and earned a fantastic 4th Place! What a remarkable achievement for such a young and gifted pianist!
Sport
Skyy (Year 6) has truly outdone himself this year earning the title of 2024 Player of the Year from SAT-Future Junior Golf Thailand! Skyy triumphed in the Class D Boys (ages 9-11) category, securing this prestigious award for the second year in a row. The trophy was presented to him by Mr Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand. Skyy’s impressive achievement includes winning seven out of eight FJGT tournament rounds. But that’s not all—his relentless dedication has led to victories in Thailand, Australia, the USA, Spain, Italy, and Scotland! With 13 junior golf tournaments under his belt, Skyy has worked tirelessly to bring home this incredible recognition for Wellington. What a champion!
What an incredible debut! Alex (Year 2) made a splash at his very first swimming competition at the Moo Deng Swimming Competition at Assumption University on Sunday. He showed amazing skill and determination, winning multiple medals: 3rd place in his 50-meter freestyle heat, 3rd in his 25-meter backstroke heat, 2nd in his 25-meter kickboard heat, and 2nd in his 25-meter freestyle heat. Huge congratulations to Alex on such an outstanding performance—here’s to many more victories in the future!
Big Congratulations to Ava (Year 3)! Aya recently competed in the Step Up Development Tournament on 17 November and secured an amazing 2nd Runner-Up award in the E Girls Class determined by a thrilling count-back score! What an incredible achievement for such a young golfer—Aya is definitely making her mark on the golf course!
