Whole School Awards

Welcome to our regular update celebrating student achievement outside of School. Sport achievements are very much the flavour this week, however we start with Music and Alice who achieved a wonderful third prize in the Bach International Music Competition (8-10 years) on the Piano.  Furthermore, Alice also made it to the final of the in Churairat ABRSM Piano Competition 2022 delivering a mesmerising performance for the audience. You can enjoy the Alice’s performance here. Congratulations, Alice!

In sport, we celebrate the achievements of two rising tennis stars making excellent progress on the junior tennis circuit here in Bangkok. Tuang won Third Place (2nd runner up) in the Girls under-10 LTAT Pyramid Tennis 10s Tournament on 13 October. Competing against players older than her, Tuang played very well indeed and is delighted with this result, as are we! Well done, Tuang!

Emily also competed in the same tournament in the U8 category, winning 6 consecutive matches including wins against Thailand’s #4 and #8 ranked player for this age group and won a hard-fought final match against a very experienced player to be crowned champion! Congratulations on this amazing win, Emily!

In Golf, Nava demonstrated excellent form and composure to win the recent TGA-Singha Junior Golf Ranking Event (E-Girl Division) at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course. Well done, Nava on another great win!

On to Archery, where TinTin competed in the Eagles Archery Open, picking up two bronze medals! In his first event, TinTin scored a fantastic 256 (total 300) ranking him third in the Bare-bow Archery (boys under 12 years old). TinTin then went on to win another bronze medal in the Dual Tournament by Elimination Event. Shooting with composure and confidence, TinTin won the final dual 6-2. Well done, TinTin, we are incredibly proud of you!

In the pool, we bring news of Porsche competing in the 9-year-old class at the recent Verso Swim Star Event by Arena. Competing in four events, Porsche delivered some excellent times, achieving personal bests in Backstroke 50M, Breaststroke 50M, Butterfly 50M and Freestyle 50M. What brilliant progress from Porsche and we look forward to hearing more about his swimming achievements later in the year!
