Stars of Wellington - 11 November 2022

Welcome to our weekly update of achievements here at Wellington. This week, we begin with academics, and Latte in Junior School who achieved a Bronze Award at the recent Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad 2022. Well done, Latte!

In sport, we have new of success on the golf course with Music winning the TJDT Tour for 13-15 year age at the Lake View Resort and Golf Club. Another excellent result Music, congratulations!

Swimming success has been very notable over the last couple of weeks with students across Senior and Junior Schools competing in competitions. Well done to all our amazing swimmers across School. Recently our Head of Swimming and his dedicated coaches have taken squads to both the Marlin Mayhem at St Andrews and the Puppy Cup at Bangkok Prep. We performed brilliantly at both and showed great team spirit and support for every participant. A particular thank you to all our parents who get up early and drive all over this big city to support our swimmers. Your photographs are also great to have as we cannot often supply School photographers at the weekends. We salute you!

Marlin Mayhem

With 21 swimmers across our Junior and Senior Schools, we put in a great effort against bigger and more established school swim squads. Huge congratulations to Orca who won a slew of medals and was awarded Overall Winner in the Senior Boys. Q came second in the Junior Boys.
