Welcome to this week's Stars of Wellington, where we share with you a selection of stories that cover the amazing successes our students achieve outside of School. This week, we have a selection of update for you from sport, music and academics.
Starting with Academics, we are delighted to report that Jaytin, (Year 8), won the gold certificate in the Python Coding category at the 2023 International STEM Olympiad. Congratulations, Jaytin, very impressive!
In Music, congratulations go to Chris (Year 1) on winning a Gold Medal in the Vocal Competition (Category: 11 years old and under) organised by Music Association at the end of April at Siam Kolkarn Music School (Pathumwan).

In Swimming, Porsche (Year 3) and to Q (Year 5), who achieved excellent swim meet results at the Blitz Anniversary Swimming Championships, Bluefin Aquatic Center, Bangkok. This competition has 550 swimmers 7-14 years old who join from all over Thailand.
Q won 8th place and received a trophy from the total points for the 10-year-old group. Porsche achieved a haul of medals – 4 in total (1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze). Congratulations to both Q and Porsche!
In Tennis, Emily continues to make great progress, finishing runner-up in both the singles and the doubles at the recent Tennis 10s Junior Circuit #2 in Bangkok, arranged by the Thailand Tennis Association (and playing in an age group above).
The singles final was a very close game indeed and went on for over two hours, with a number of long rallies in the hot sun.
A huge well done to Emily!
In Golf, firstly we have news from Sann in Year 1 who competed at TGA (TGA-Singha Junior Golf Ranking 2023-2024) at Watermill Golf Club. Congratulations to Sann who finished second runner-up in his category! Great work!
Also in Golf, Music achieved first place at the TJGGA - Optimist Junior Golf Talent 2023 for the age group 15-18 year at the Royal Hills Golf Resort & Spa. Brilliant news, Music!
Finally, in Equestrian, Mia won the first place at the recent VRD CUP in the Show Jumping Pony 60cm Class.
