End of Year Academic Awards Presented to Top Achieving Wellingtonians

At today’s end-of-year assembly we celebrated the achievements of our top performers. The End of Year Awards are presented to the students whose report grades, through all the three terms, have been the highest overall. We award for Attainment, Progress and Motivation.

Academic Awards were presented as follows:

The Bishop Award for Overall Academic Achievement was earned by Leila Bishop.

The ceremony concluded our second, and extraordinary, academic year at Wellington College Bangkok. Wellington is not fundamentally buildings, or curriculums, or even the fancy new theatre that we went in for the first time today. It is the students who spend their days here – learning, playing, growing up.

There is always more work to be done, but our students, not only today’s Prize Winners but every single one, are all true Wellingtonians and everybody here is delighted to have the opportunity of teaching them.
