Welcome to the final Stars of Wellington of 2022! Throughout this Half Term we have received a range of exciting stories covering the achievements of Wellington students outside of School. We read every single one and publish a selection each week here on the website.
This week, we begin with a particularly unique story from TinTin and his experience joining the first ever Drone Soccer Competition in Thailand at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Originating in Korea, Drone Soccer is played with four drones per team. The game is played on a field with goals at either end. The objective of the game is to score goals by flying a ball into the opposing team's net.
Congratulations to TinTin and his team for winning First Prize in the Junior Division of this drone soccer competition!
