Introducing this week's Stars of Wellington, with a special spotlight on our talented athletes in the Sport Corner! 🌟 

Congratulations, Jackfruit (Year 8) for securing the runner-up spot in the under 14 years old (boy) category at the PTT - Lawn Tennis Skill Development Southern Region Tournament in Surat Thani recently. It’s truly an incredible achievement! Jackfruit skill and determination earned applause from all around the court. This tournament serves as vital preparation for upcoming continental and global competitions, showcasing your potential on an international stage. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Jay as always for the unwavering support!

Congratulations to Ayrton (Year 4) and Alain (Year 3), our talented racing brothers, for their outstanding performances! Ayrton raced his way to an impressive 2nd place among 9-year-olds, clocking his personal best at 30.087 seconds! Let's also give a round of applause to Alain, the youngest competitor in the 8-year-old class! Despite being just 7 and a half years old, Alain demonstrated his skill by moving from 5th to 4th place with a lightning-fast time of 30.892 seconds in Their Advanced Training at Junior Go-Kart Advanced 2024!

Let's serve up some applause for Punn (Year 4)! Punn aced his way into the Quarter-final round for Boys Single Under 10, outshining 28 applicants at the 100Plus Super Junior Tennis Tournament 2024 last weekend! Punn's doubles game was on point too, as he clinched the 2nd Runner-up position for Boys Doubles Under 10! Congratulations, Punn! Your talent on the court is truly remarkable!  

 

 

⛳️ Double the excitement, double the celebration! At the SINGHA-TSGU Juniors Future Tour 2024 at Watermill Golf Club & Resort, this dynamic duo showcased their skills in different divisions: VJ (Year 8) scored an impressive 3rd Place in Class BB, while Vda (Year 3) soared to victory, clinching 1st Place in Class EG! Their golf skills were truly impressive.  Let's cheer for both on their remarkable achievements!

Let's give a round of applause for Pam (Year 6), Whipcream (Year 6), Haru (Year 6), Indy (Year 6), and Margie (Year 5)! Their dance creation team dominated the stage, securing the Gold Prize at the International Young Dancers Competition 2024 in the Pop Dance Team age 10-12 category!  With their vibrant energy and undeniable talent, they not only broke the floor but also lit up the stage with passion and excitement! Congratulations to the whole team! You're all future pop stars in the making, shining bright with every move! 
 
 

Raphael (Year 4) showcased his undeniable talent this week, making a significant contribution to Bangkok Galaxy Under 10 A Team's victory in the Plate Final of the Bangkok International SuperCup! Competing against teams from across Asia, including Thailand, India, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, and Japan, Raphael and his teammates emerged victorious on the football field!  This win brings fantastic news as the new Galaxy Academy will be hosted at Wellington next year! Well done, Raphael! 

 

Let's give a standing ovation to Cherda (Year 4)! Cherda's graceful performance has earned her the esteemed "Encouragement Prize" in the Performance A division of Classical Solo at the Asian Grand Prix International Ballet Competition! Competing against top talents from across Asia, including Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, and more, Cherda's achievement is truly commendable! Congratulations, Cherda! Your talent and artistry have captivated audiences on the international stage!

We're absolutely delighted to share the news that Alice (Year 5) has been invited to perform in the prestigious GALA Winner Concert for Gold Award Celebration 2024 at the Thailand Cultural Centre. Not only did she win the Gold Prize in Piano and Violin from TTMC, but she also showcased her incredible talent by performing both instruments at the concert! Mark your calendars because Alice's next concert performance will be in June 2024 at the Goethe Institute Thailand!

Let's give a big round of applause to Theelyn (Year 4)! We're absolutely thrilled to announce that Theelyn has secured the Gold Prize at the Thailand Music Festival for Young Artists 2024 in the Singing Age Under 10 Category! Way to go, Theelyn! Your talent shines brighter than ever!
